Do you want a job that pays you to play games and stay at home? There are thousands of people out there that will say yes to this question. The difference is what you have to bring to the table. The other question that comes about is whether or not being an Xbox 360 game tester is real or a scam.
You have probably seen ads about game testers where they profess to make $200 an hour for testing games. That sounds too good to be true and it is.
The typical game tester will make $10 to $50 an hour depending on experience. The more experience you can bring to the table the better. For example if you are a game developer you could earn more finding bugs in the games you test.
So it is possible to be an Xbox 360 game tester. Now the question is, how do you manage this?
Xbox is not just going to advertise anywhere that they want game testers. Instead they are going to look in places that they will find the right people for the job.
They are not going to advertise on their home site very often for game testers. So, heading to Xbox homepage and looking under available jobs will usually yield that they want script writers, programmers, or developers above Xbox 360 game testers.
Instead you need a site like Game Testing Ground. This site offers a membership that will unlock the game tester world to you. They offer information, news, and potential jobs.
It will be up to you to make your breakthrough. It is not going to be as easy as applying for a job and getting it. You must offer a professional attitude, resume, and experience. Once you have that first couple of jobs it will be easier to earn money being an Xbox 360 game tester.

I am experienced in all gaming consoles that I know of (All recently produced ones).
I own all of the new gaming consoles dating back a few years (excepting the new playstation 3).
