While Square Enix is a gaming company that is fairly small, so you won’t be seeing any advertising for game tester jobs in the classified section, or online. They do however need people to help test their games for defects, but the trick is they offer these positions through game tester listing sites. Almost all gaming companies are using these listing agencies now days, because only the best gamers, or those most interested in game testing sign up for them.
The whole idea is to weed through the people who just want to play games for free, and don’t want to actually go through the game, check for glitches and other problems. Game testing, while fun, is actual work. You have to contact the company, fill out reports on problems with the game itself, and be able to articulate your findings clearly. This also may mean a writing reports, and also going reviews of the products. The other thing about video game testing, whether it is for Square Enix or any other company is volume. Each company only puts out a certain number of games each year, so while the money can be good, the work isn’t as steady as some may think.

My name is Genequina “Genny” Gabriel Blackmon!! I really want to try being a video game tester, I have a deep passion for games ever since I was a young child, playing the NES and SNES’ Mario and Duck Hunt games to Yoshi and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As for the Sega Saturn’s Nights Into Dreams and Virtua Cop and Virtua Fighter, the Sega Genesis’ Sonic the Hedgehog games, NBA Jam, and Mortal Kombat. When the N64 came out I played everyday!! Super Smash Bros., Wave Race 64, 1080 Snowboarding, 007: Golden Eye, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and Yoshi’s Story.
But the PlayStation is the one that had my undivided attention, from it’s first release in the US and now. My very first game was Ape Escape, I played for hours paying attention to every detail and enjoying the music. I have played a few Crash Bandicoot games, Spyro the Dragon 1 and 2, but the most damning was the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Cross that got me very interested in RPG’s and Action Adventure genres and Resident Evil for Shooting. It was PlayStation that got into multiple categories of games. Over time each and every cent had to go into paying bills, so I could not buy anymore games. But I have always wanted to try Game Testing, for the pure love of games and I pay very close attention to details, environments, music scores, sound effects and decent voice acting.
My personal favorites are: Square Enix, Capcpm, Namco, Bandai, Tri-Ace, Ubisoft, Sony Computer Entertainment, Konami, Rockstar, and more…!!

i love square enix game most of it is final fantasy man i wish i have a game tester job in square enix i would live it i wish there’s an online type fps and can switch to tps game man i would play all day long

I have always loved playing Square Enix Games, ever since I started playing Final Fantasy 1, I have loved playing your video games. I would love to test video games for a company that has given me so much.
